Shackeltons_hut - One of the other historic huts is Shackelton's Nimrod Hut.  It was from this hut that Shackelton make the first real attempt to reach the South Pole.  He got within 90 miles of the South Pole, but turned back because he feared that while they could make it to the pole, they would not make it back alive.
